macOS 27 Brings Apple’s Biggest AI Upgrades

Apple has released macOS 27 Golden Gate with its largest set of artificial intelligence upgrades for the Mac. The central addition is Siri AI, which can understand personal context, answer questions about onscreen content, take actions across the operating system, and retrieve information from the web. It can also work with messages, email, photographs, and other personal material to provide more relevant responses. Apple Intelligence expands to additional apps, while Safari gains automatic tab organization, website-change alerts, and tools to create custom extensions from descriptions. The update also improves AirDrop, iCloud uploads, Spotlight, Photos, Mail, Spaces, Mission Control, and network file browsing. Siri AI begins in beta on M1 or newer Macs and the MacBook Neo.
