My Hero Academia Historic Conclusion Premiers This Month

My Hero Academia is preparing for its historic conclusion with Season 8, premiering October 4th, 2025, on Crunchyroll. The final season will adapt the climax of the manga’s Final War arc, featuring Deku versus Shigaraki and All Might’s exoskeleton-fueled showdown with All For One. It will also include the epilogue arc, resolving lingering storylines and showing Class 1-A’s future. Although the episode count is unconfirmed, industry scheduling suggests 11 episodes, aligning with the series’ 2016 debut length. Returning staff include Kenji Nagasaki as chief director and Naomi Nakayama as director at Bones, with Yuuki Hayashi handling music. Trailers have teased spectacular battles, All Might’s last stand, and the new theme “REVO.” The finale closes a nine-year journey, cementing the anime’s legacy.
