New Trailer Released For Easygoing Territory Defense by the Optimistic Lord Anime

The isekai fantasy anime Easygoing Territory Defense by the Optimistic Lord has confirmed its January 2026 premiere in a new trailer introducing four additional cast members. The series, directed by Tetsuya Tatamitani (Africa Salaryman) at Studio NAZ, adapts Sou Akaie’s light novel about Van. This reincarnated young lord uses production magic to rebuild a failing frontier village. The newly announced cast includes Yoko Hikasa as Panamera, Shion Wakayama as Arte, Kenyu Horiuchi as Esparda, and Chiaki Kobayashi as Dee. Rei Nakashima performs the upbeat opening theme “Okirakuza~tion.” The anime blends humor, fantasy, and creative world-building as Van transforms exile into opportunity. The story is based on the novel published by Overlap and licensed in English by Seven Seas Entertainment.
