OpenAI Introduces ChatGPT Atlas

OpenAI has launched ChatGPT Atlas, a new macOS browser with ChatGPT built directly into it. Atlas integrates AI across the entire web experience, enabling ChatGPT to provide contextual assistance to users on any page without requiring them to switch tabs. It supports browser memories, enabling ChatGPT to recall past sites and actions to generate summaries, to-do lists, or research insights, while giving users full privacy controls. Agent mode now works natively in Atlas, letting ChatGPT autonomously perform online tasks such as planning events, filling carts, or compiling research. Safeguards prevent unauthorized actions on sensitive sites, code execution, or data access. Atlas is available today for Free, as well as Plus, Pro, and Go users, with Business beta and upcoming versions for Windows, iOS, and Android.
