Oracle Discussing Cloud Capacity Deal for Metaβs AI Model Training
Anime & AI News

Oracle is in talks with Meta over a potential $20 billion multi-year cloud computing deal to supply capacity for training and deploying AI models, a source told Reuters. The agreement would expand Meta’s access to computing power beyond its current providers. Meta declined to comment, while Oracle did not respond. The news follows reports that OpenAI signed a $300 billion contract with Oracle for computing resources, one of the largest cloud deals ever. Oracle has also partnered with Amazon, Alphabet, and Microsoft to let customers run its Cloud Infrastructure alongside their native services, generating surging revenue. Last week, Oracle announced four new multi-billion-dollar contracts and projected that its OCI business could exceed $500 billion in booked revenue.
