Plaud Unveils NotePin S and AI Desktop Meeting Notetaker

Plaud unveiled its latest hardware and software to improve meeting productivity ahead of CES 2026. The new Plaud NotePin S is a wearable AI-powered recording device that adds a physical button for starting, stopping, and highlighting recordings. It stores audio locally with up to 64GB of storage and offers around 20 hours of continuous operation, with monthly voice transcription credits included. The device clips, pins, or hangs for versatile use throughout the day. Alongside this hardware release, Plaud introduced Plaud Desktop, a free application for Mac and Windows that automatically detects active meetings on Zoom, Teams, or Meet and uses AI to transcribe and summarize conversations without requiring a bot. These tools target both in-person and online meeting workflows.
