Potions Will Save Me To Premiere This October

The upcoming “light anime” adaptation of Akira Iwafune’s Potion, Waga Mi o Tasukeru (Potions Will Save Me), will premiere on October 2nd on Tokyo MX. Kaede Hondo voices Kaede, an ordinary high school girl reincarnated into a fantasy world, while Takeo Ōtsuka plays the dragon hunter Asuru. Directed by Mikiko Furukawa (Moriarty’s Perfect Crime) at IMAGICA Infos and Imageworks Studio with assistance from Studio KAIBA, the series uses a simplified animation style to reduce production time. Yūichi Imaizumi serves as sound director, with music by Bermei Inazawa. The story follows Kaede, who discovers a magical book that enables her to craft potions by chanting the words “Create.” Determined to survive among beastkin, elves, and dragons, she aims to use her alchemy to return to Japan eventually.
