Scum of the Brave Anime Reveals New Trailer Ahead of April 10 Debut

A new trailer has been released for the Scum of the Brave anime, offering another look at its supernatural action ahead of its April 10th broadcast debut in Japan. Crunchyroll will simulcast the series as it airs. Illustrator toi8, who worked on the original web novel, also shared a commemorative illustration to mark the anime’s upcoming premiere. The series is directed by Shinji Ushiro at studio OLM, with series composition by Yoichi Kato, character designs by Rika Murakami, and music by Kenichiro Suehiro. Originally serialized as a web novel on Kadokawa’s Kakuyomu platform, the story follows a near-future Tokyo where mafia figures can transform into Demon Lords, hunted by warriors known as Braves, including a reluctant veteran and his apprentice.
