Sentenced to Be a Hero English Dub Cast Revealed With Same-Day Launch

Sentenced to Be a Hero is a dark fantasy anime set in a brutal world where criminals are forced into heroic roles as punishment rather than as a matter of honor. Those condemned are bound to fight monstrous threats in the service of the state, knowing survival is uncertain, and freedom is never guaranteed. Crunchyroll has announced that the series will receive an English dub, with the dub releasing on the same day as the Japanese broadcast. The dub features David Matranga as Xylo Forbartz, Emi Lo as Teoritta, and Joshua Waters as Dotta, with support from an experienced production team. Directed by Shawn Gann, the English version aims to faithfully deliver the series’ grim tone and moral tension. The simultaneous release ensures global audiences can experience the story as it unfolds.
