Skip and Loafer Season 2 Teaser Confirms April 2027 Release

Skip and Loafer Season 2 has revealed its first teaser trailer and visual, confirming an April 2027 premiere. Kotomi Deai returns to direct the sequel at P.A. Works after leading the first season, with Manami Umeshita again handling character design and Takatsugu Wakabayashi returning for the music. The original television anime ran for 12 episodes from April to June 2023. Its cast includes Tomoyo Kurosawa as Mitsumi Iwakura, Akinori Egoshi as Sosuke Shima, Maaya Uchida as Yuzuki Murashige, Yuka Terasaki as Mika Egashira, and Megumi Han as Makoto Kurume. Misaki Takamatsu’s manga has been serialized in Kodansha’s Afternoon magazine since 2018. The story follows country student Mitsumi as she enters a prestigious Tokyo school, adapts to city life, and forms new relationships with Sosuke and her classmates.
