Super Robot Wars Y Expands as ZII Remaster Emerges

Super Robot Wars is preparing two major announcements for players. Version 1.4.0 of Super Robot Wars Y arrives on August 4 with two free celebratory missions, a raised level cap of 200, and a new BOOST mode. The mode doubles experience, credits, and MXP while reducing the cost of pilot training, upgrades, and items by half, without weakening enemies. On August 5, the Anniversary Expansion Pack adds 33 area missions, seven combined attacks, five normal attacks, five player units, an assist crew member and a bonus mission. Bandai Namco also announced a remaster of 2011’s Super Robot Wars ZII: Ruination, which introduced several enduring mecha franchises to that branch of the series. Release timing, regions, and supported platforms will be announced later.
