The Brilliant Healer Returns, Season 2 Officially Announced

The Brilliant Healer’s New Life in the Shadows has been officially confirmed for Season 2, revealed during GA Fes 2026. The news arrives with an announcement of PV and a new teaser visual. Studio Macaria handled Season 1’s animation, with Jo Yoshizaki credited as director. Returning cast members include Shogo Sakata as Zenos, Yoko Hikasa as Carmilla, Miharu Hanai as Lily, Sayaka Kikuchi as Loewe, and Mashiro Hitaka as Lynga. Based on Sakaku Hishikawa’s light novels, illustrated by Daburyu, the story follows a self-taught genius healer who is mistreated, expelled from his party, and starts an underground clinic in the slums. As rumors of a skilled “dark healer” spread, his new life in the shadows begins. It began online in 2020, later in print.
