Anime & AI News
Wit Studio’s remake of One Piece, titled The One Piece, has unveiled its first concept art and key staff during One Piece Day 2024. The remake, which will adapt the East Blue Saga, is directed by Masashi Koizuka (Attack on Titan), with Hideaki Abe (Jujutsu Kaisen) as assistant director, series composition by Taku Kishimoto (Haikyuu!!), and character designs by Kyoji Asano (Attack on Titan, Spy x Family). Additional staff include Takatoshi Honda, Eri Taguchi, Ken Imaizumi, Shuhei Fukuda, and Ryoma Kawamura. The new art showcases Luffy, Nami, Usopp, Zoro, Sanji, and iconic moments, such as Zoro’s promise to Kuina and Sanji feeding Gin, rendered in a soft color palette that aligns with Eiichiro Oda’s style. Fans, reassured by the veteran staff, are increasingly optimistic about the remake.
