Amazon Unveils Next Generation of AI-Powered Devices For Alexa+

Amazon has unveiled four new Echo devices built around its Alexa+ generative AI: the Echo Dot Max (2025), Echo Studio (2025), Echo Show 8 (2025), and Echo Show 11 (2025). These devices feature upgraded processors, memory, and custom silicon chips (AZ3 and AZ3 Pro) for deeper AI integration. They also include Omnisense sensors, enabling Alexa to understand and react to environmental context. Improvements include: Stronger bass in the compact smart speaker, Echo Dot Max. Spatial Audio and Dolby Atmos in the premium smart speaker, Echo Studio. Sharper displays with 13MP cameras in the smart touch displays of the Echo Show models, which allow user recognition. Based on customer feedback, these updates enhance sound, visuals, and interactivity. The devices launch in October and November 2025, offering Alexa+ access immediately out of the box.
