Bokura Announce New MMORPG Blue Protocol: Star Resonance

Chinese developer Bokura announced that Blue Protocol: Star Resonance, a new MMORPG based on Bandai Namco Online’s Blue Protocol, will launch in English this October for PC (via Steam and Epic Games Store) and mobile (iOS and Android). Pre-registration for mobile is open, and a closed beta has begun with progress wiped but compensated through currency rebates at launch. The game will feature anime-style visuals, a class-based combat system, open-world quests, dungeons, raids, character customization, and social features such as guilds and trade, with cross-platform play between PC and mobile. A demo will be available at Anime NYC. The original Blue Protocol launched in Japan in 2023 but ended service in 2024 before Bokura revived the IP.
