Cheat-Granting Mage Reveals Opening and Ending Videos

The Laid-Off Cheat-Granting Mage Enjoys a Second Lease on Life has shared creditless opening and ending animation sequences following its fall 2026 debut. Sumika performs the opening song Ember Torch, while Luov supplies the ending theme Roleplaying Life. The fantasy follows Rein, a mage expelled from his guild after spending years enhancing his companions’ equipment. He reclaims his enchantments, empowers his own sword, and begins an independent adventure alongside fellow outcasts. Shu Honma directs the television adaptation at P.A. Works, with Yoko Yonaiyama overseeing series composition. Yuito Kiyosawa leads character design and animation direction, with support from Masami Goda. The original light novels by Asa Rokushima began online in January 2021, and Kodansha publishes both print novels and a manga adaptation.
