New AI Model LongLive Generates High-Quality Interactive Long Videos in Real Time

LongLive is a new AI system designed to create long, interactive videos in real time. Unlike older video models that were either slow or lost quality on longer clips, LongLive employs a more innovative frame-by-frame method to maintain video consistency while generating quickly. The system can respond to live prompts while a video is being generated, allowing users to guide the story, adjust settings, or introduce new characters as it unfolds. Trained from a short-clip model, it can now produce videos lasting up to four minutes, running smoothly at over 20 frames per second on advanced GPUs. The team has shared the research paper, open-source code, and demo examples, making LongLive a tool for dynamic storytelling, content creation, and future interactive media.
