The Legend of Luo Xiaohei Donghua to Debut on Japanese TV

The Chinese animated web series The Legend of Luo Xiaohei, which aired from 2011 to 2021 with 40 episodes and three specials, will debut on Japanese television this October with a new dub cast. Kana Hanazawa reprises her role as the cat spirit Xiaohei from the Japanese release of the prequel film The Legend of Hei. Joining her are Ayane Sakura as Luo Xiaobai, Megumi Han as A’Gen, and Akari Kito as Shanxin. A Japanese dub of The Legend of Hei II will follow on November 7th. The series tells the story of Xiaohei, a cat spirit whose home is destroyed, as he journeys between goblin allies and human companions, exploring trust and belonging in a divided world.
