The Record of a Fallen Vampire will receive a television anime adaptation in 2027, accompanied by a teaser trailer and visual. Yuma Uchida stars as vampire king Akabara Red Rose Strauss, with Aino Shimada voicing Bridget Irving Frostheart. Mankyu is directing the series and overseeing its composition, while Jimao serves as character designer and Evan Call composes the music. ZERO-G and Liber are producing the animation. The anime is based on Kyo Shirodaira and Yuri Kimura’s supernatural dark fantasy manga, serialised in Monthly Shonen Gangan from 2003 to 2007 across nine collected volumes. The story follows Strauss as he searches for his sealed queen while facing dhampirs and the powerful Black Swan. A new sequel manga from Shirodaira and Kimura will launch on October 9, 2026.
