Wound and Bandage Teaser Confirms January 9 Broadcast

Wound & Bandage, the anime adaptation of Umihoshi Nanai’s manga, has confirmed a January 9, 2027, premiere along with its principal voice cast. Hisako Kanemoto plays Riyo Washizu, daughter of a powerful yakuza leader, and Chikahiro Kobayashi voices Go Kiritani, the subordinate responsible for her care. The romantic comedy turns on Riyo’s fascination with seeing seemingly formidable people at their weakest. Miyuki Ishida directs the series at J.C.Staff, Susumu Yamakawa writes its scripts, and Natsuki Oyama designs the characters. The series will air on AT-X and in the late-night Animazing programming block on ABC and TV Asahi. It will also stream on ABEMA shortly after the terrestrial broadcast. The manga began serialisation in August 2024.
