Bluesky Expands Attie Into AI-Powered Social Creation
Anime & AI News
Bluesky has expanded its experimental Attie platform beyond custom-feed building to support AI-assisted creation of websites, games, quizzes, polls and other interactive social experiences. Announced at TechCrunch Disrupt, the new tools connect user-built projects to identities on the AT Protocol, the decentralised infrastructure that powers Bluesky. CEO Toni Schneider described the approach as social vibe coding, emphasising projects built for communities rather than isolated personal experiments. Users can supply their own AI model or choose an open-weight option, while Attie can recommend creations based on public profile information. COO Rose Wang highlighted the potential to distribute finished experiences through Bluesky’s existing audience. The company is also testing private-data support for the protocol, with broader availability planned later in the year.
