HiddenLayer Raises $100 Million for AI Security

Anime & AI News

AI security company HiddenLayer has raised $100 million as enterprises increase spending on tools designed to protect artificial intelligence deployments. TechCrunch says security vendors are racing to monitor not only AI agents themselves but also the tools, plugins and add-ons those agents can use. That wider attack surface is becoming more important as companies connect models to internal data, software and automated actions. Traditional security controls may not fully capture risks created by autonomous or semi-autonomous systems interacting with many external components. HiddenLayer’s large funding round reflects investor expectations that AI security will become a distinct enterprise category rather than a small extension of existing cybersecurity products. Businesses deploying agents increasingly need visibility into model behavior, connected tools and the paths through which compromised systems could act.
